Clamshell boxes completely enclose an item and protect from damage. Each box is carefully measured for a custom fit to the book or pamphlet. If the item is less than 1/2" thick, we generally create a thicker bottom tray so the finished box is at least 1" thick. We can create flat or rounded box spines, which elegantly mimic the look of a book on the shelf. For added protection to fragile items or just for added frill, a box can be lined with suede or velvet or a padded cushion. We can use any combination of leather, book cloth or paper for the box.
