For over thirty years we have been restoring and conserving all manner of bound and printed material. Throughout the centuries mankind has coveted and collected books. Not only for the wisdom contained within, but for their artistry and craftsmanship. Book collecting to many represents a quest for a piece of the past, to be entrusted to the future. Paper, cloth, vellum and leather are by their nature perishable materials. It is our goal to restore and preserve their longevity by the most scientific and proven traditions. Only the finest archival materials are used to restore or replace the original components.

       As a family run business, the Green Dragon Bindery is able to approach each customer’s project individually, discussing in advance their concerns, budget and time constraints. Many of our customers have been with us since the beginning for these reasons. In keeping with this tradition, we hope to establish new customers taking into consideration their ideas and the historic nature of each piece.
